As prom looms on the horizon, think about how much more ethereal and gorgeous a vintage prom dress can look, especially in contrast to the skin-tight styles running rampant among the prom-going generation. So, if any promheads are reading this, one suggestion: Set aside Kim K, and instead channel the look of Miss Lux L? Hellooooo 2012! Hopefully everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a bompin’ New Years. 2012 is the year of the dragon, which means that babies born this year will be enterprising, self-assured, and brave. (Also conceited, tactless, and scrutinizing, but who cares!) As a dragon baby myself, I thought I’d post some pictures and videos of the great band Little Dragon. Their latest album Ritual Union has been playing on repeat around these parts, and the lead singer Yukimi Nagano is truly a style star.
